30-years

  • 1986 : Started Freightplan (Pvt) Ltd as a local clearing and forwarding company in Sri Lanka
  • 1992 : Shipping Agency Services (Pvt) Ltd (SAS), was incorporated in 1992. SAS is now a leading multi-faceted Shipping Agent in Sri Lanka.
  • 1999 : Famous Pacific Shipping Worldwide group was incorporated in 1999. Famous Pacific Shipping Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. became a shareholder and a founder member of the FPS Group headquartered in Hong Kong. It is today a leading LCL consolidator in Sri Lanka.
  • 2007 : FPS started its direct weekly service to Male by establishing a representative office in the Maldives.
  • 2011 : Projects FPS was incorporated in 2011 and is today one of the leading Project Logistics companies in Sri Lanka.
  • 2011 : Our Managing Director was appointed as the Chairman of the FPS Worldwide Group
  • 2013 : The 15th AGM of the FPS Worldwide Group was held in Sri Lanka with a record representation of 110 FPS members.
  • 2013 : Our Managing Director was re-elected as the Chairman for two more years by FPS Worldwide Group.
  • 2014 : Formed a joint venture with a leading Ship Chartering and Broking partner based in Singapore.
  • 2014 : Opened a branch office in Galle for facilitation of sea marshals operations and other OPL services.
  • 2015 : Projects FPS started its Specialized Vehicle Logistics division
  • 2017 : Incorporation of FPS Alpha (Pvt) Ltd, the sole appointed agent for Akzonobel for high performance protective coating in Sri Lanka and Maldives
